Were I am Now

We live in a "dirty" yellow, two bedroom house. There are three children and my husband and I. Its old and everything needs to be replaced. We wont to eventually move out of town, so we don't want to put any money in it that we don't have too. Don't get me wrong we keep a clean house, and live comfortably, but if we don't have to fix something we don't waste are money fixing the house. We live in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Its in the middle of Indianapolis and the Illinois boarder. All the bad weather either happens above or below us. It has a population of just under 16,000. Its small enough were you can go into Wall mart and see someone that you know, but big enough that everyone really doesn't care about you. Your only living here cause you were born here or married in, like me.
I'm an Avon Representative, and a stay at home mom. I'm trying to put together a women's group, but it's going really slow. It seems everybody is to busy not doing anything. I sew and scrapbook and try to work on genealogy. My husband Brian was born (in the old hosptail) and raised here. Works at Fairfiled Manufacturing, in Lafayette. He has been there for about five years. It's about a 45min drive one way.
We have only been married for two and a half years now. With one child between us. I have three other children from relationships before. We work hard and sacrifice what we can to pay the bills and keep food on the table. We live a simple life with modern convinces.

  1. It all does sound pretty "ordinary" but having raised three children as a single mom i know how truly extrodinary it is especially in this day and age. And having a father in the house ... that is next to miraculous!
